Who is firing and who is still hiring in the Web3 Space!
In as much as the market is down and most companies are firing some are still going strong and hiring. Bigger web3 companies like Gemini, coinbase etc have been firing but smaller projects and medium sized companies keep on hiring. One thing this shows is that as job seekers you should be looking for the smaller projects launching or preparing to launch as they are the one currently hiring in this bear market
Our Take: use Voice lol, Our real take is that the market opportunity is shifting and capital is left with the smaller companies who just raised!
Hacker pockets $1.1 million after stealing from Audius
Audius the Web3 Music streaming platform was hacked using a malicious governance vote which led to the hacker(s) transferring 18 million AUDIO tokens and sold them for $1.1 million. What the hacker did was that he noticed there was a flaw with the governance code of Audius, so on Saturday he edited the code to make himself the Guardian of the community fund, he then went ahead to create a proposal for 18 million tokens to be sent to himself which at the time had a value of $6.6 millon but went down to $1.1 million due to spillage
Our Take: Governance systems are way too weak this is not the first time a 'decentralized' governance system is being exploited
