We Lost ANOTHER $1.2 billion to hackers this Weekend alone!

During the last Newsletter we were talking about how crypto lost $1.4 billion to bridge hackers this year, well over the weekend we lost $1.2 Billion to hackers of the Acala Network! The Bull was not happy about this, smh

Acala network, the defi protocol for Polkadot, has suffered a breach, and its stablecoin depegged from the dollar. It is reported that the hackers collected approximately $1.2 Billion $AUSD. What caused the Hack? According to the official twitter account there was a configuration issue which affected aUSD, their stablecoin. Binance’s CEO CZ confirmed on his official Twitter account that the compromise occurred due to a bug in the iBTC/AUSD pool, which the hacker(s) exploited to withdraw over 1 billion $AUSD!

How can this be fixed? Well right now there is a vote by the community to make aUSD worthless there by making the $1.2 Billion in AUSD worthless! This seems like a good plan
